What is St. Gabriel’s Call ? Holy Trinity Parish supports our St. Gabriel's Call northern RI program, located in the school building across from the food pantry. This diocesan program reaches out to assist women in a crisis pregnancy and helps them say 'Yes' to life by providing them with material, emotional and spiritual support. May, 2023 marks the one year anniversary that Holy Trinity has hosted St. Gabriel’s Call. During this past year, the program has served 163 women and their children, including 60 women who are new to the program.
Clients can come in once a month for basic baby items diapers, wipes, clothing, formula, etc. They can also get baby furniture, referrals for Food Stamps, heating assistance (in season) and other basic needs. St. Gabriel’s Call has 6 faithful volunteers who help sort and stock donations and keep the office open on Thursdays from 10 am to 3 pm. Rosana Lenus, intake worker with the Diocesan Social Ministry Office, is in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am to 2pm. St. Gabriel’s Call is located in the Parish Center ( formerly Monsignor Gadoury School) across from the Food Pantry.
