Holy Trinity is a Roman Catholic parish located in Woonsocket, RI. The original parish (Our Lady Queen of Martyrs) was established in September, 1953 to serve Woonsocket and North Smithfield, RI. On July 1, 2018, the parish located here was merged with two other nearby parishes (Sacred Heart and Holy Family) to create a new parish, Holy Trinity Parish.
Combined parishes included: Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Sacred Heart and Holy Family. The decree document of the merger can be found at the bottom of this page (scroll down). Holy Trinity Parish is a member parish of the Greater Woonsocket Catholic Regional School System which is hosted at Good Shepherd Regional School located on Mendon Rd., Woonsocket, RI.
