At the baptism of Jesus, a voice came from heaven saying, "You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased." Through Baptism, Jesus' identity as God's Son is revealed and understood. He knows very clearly who he is. Baptism does the same for us. It gives us our identity as daughters and sons of God. We have the wonderful opportunity, given to us as a gift, to share in the same intimate relationship Jesus has with God his Father. Being a daughter or son of God gives us a unique and focused mission to which we must be faithful. Our identity, as with Jesus, is rooted in God. This is a simple fact we all must accept. Through Baptism, we are given the power and ability to see the world as God sees and to think and act as God would think and act. This is a tall order but one that will lead us to truth and ultimately to happiness.

Weekend Masses & Weekly Sanctuary Candles We encourage you to have Mass intentions during the week. Intentions can be for the living, sick as well deceased or Favor obtained. Same with the Sanctuary Candle. We now have cards for both living and deceased intentions at the rectory. If you are having a Mass said for a loved one on the weekend, we invite you to be bearers of the offertory gifts in the Offertory Procession and ask you to also be considerate when there are two intentions for the same Mass allowing someone from each family to participate and each take up one of the gifts...Thank You!

ROSARY DEVOTION Join us in praying the Rosary after the 8:00 am mass on Saturday morning.
The first Sunday of each month is our pantry Sunday. The protein foods, like peanut butter, meats, stews and tuna are always needed. All shelf stable foods are gratefully accepted. Our Lady's Food Pantry is open every Tuesday and Thursday, 1:30 to 2:30 next to (and in the rear) of the Rectory.
