We are in need of Faith Formation  sub-teachers for this year (2024-25). If interested, please contact Carlene.

Catechists are an essential part of parish life.  They help nurture and develop the Catholic faith lives through teaching the Word and by the example of their lives.  The role of catechists in the Church are very ancient and involved bringing others to the understanding and knowledge of Jesus.  Often the early catechists were involved in bringing adults to faith and their Baptism into the Church.  They were an intimate part of the preparation of the new Christian into the life of the faith community.

Our catechists work with our younger parishioners to nurture their growing faith in Christ and membership in the Church in our Fatih Formation Program (CCD) from grades K to 8.  They provide instruction in the faith for children and young adults preparing for Confirmation.

Further information can be received from Carlene Fontaine, Director of Faith Formation.
