"Soup and stations"
Lenten activity

Holy Trinity Parish
Picture
"Soup and Stations" is a Lenten event of a simple Lenten meal consisting of soup, bread and water followed by the Stations of the Cross on each of the six Fridays of Lent (excluding Good Friday). The meal and stations are provided by the members of Holy Trinity Parish. The meals begin on March 4, at 5:30 and end at 6:15 followed by the Stations of the Cross at 6:30.  (There is no charge for the meals.) These meals and the stations of the cross will alternate between Holy Family Church and OLQM Church.

Schedule:

  • March 25 -  OLQM Church, Park Ave
  • April 1  -      Holy Family Church, Providence St
  • April 8 -      OLQM Church, Park Ave
Would you like to help with the soup or bread?  We are looking for two volunteers to make 5 gallons of soups each week using a crock pot OR pot (10 gals minimum).  We also need someone to donate bread.  Soups must be meatless since Fridays in Lent are days of abstinence.  See Fr. Dan or contact the rectory office if you are willing to help with the soup or bread.
